One of the hardest things about traveling is deciding what to pack. I travel so much that I have actually gotten really good at finding wrinkle-free, coordinating, layering pieces, but one thing still irks me — shoes! How do you pack them without your favorite pairs getting squished? Even for a weekend away I need at least three pairs: How do you fit them all into your carry on? And this is just in the warmer months — let’s not even get started on the winter when you may need snow boots, wellies, casual boots, plus over-the-knee shearling boots for going out in… it gives me anxiety just thinking about it. I’ve often considered Fed Exing my luggage to my destination, but the risk of my bags getting lost in the post is way scarier than a pair of squished flats. You — or at least I — want to be effortlessly chic when traveling; universally appealing while avoiding the American tourist look at all costs. I’m constantly looking for the perfect luggage: light, chic and completely discernible from the masses. You can imagine my joy when I stumbled across this shoe bag by Bodhi! Separate, protective compartments for your shoes! Not necessarily something you want to check, but carry-on perfection.
